Mike is the founder and principal of WealthEQ, LLC.  He provides wealth planning, portfolio management, and investment advisory services to high-net-worth individuals, families, and family offices.

 

Prior to WealthEQ, Mike was an Investment Consultant at Innovest Portfolio Solutions, Senior Wealth Advisor at Bessemer Trust, and Business Development Manager at GE. He spent more than 10 years as a Navy SEAL with part of his career at SEAL Team 6,  the nation's premier counter-terrorism unit.

Mike earned an MBA from Emory University with a concentration in Finance and a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Colorado.

He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (CFP®), and Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor.
 
Mike lives in Erie, CO with his wife, Zaira, and 3 kids: Sadie (13), Sofia (12), and Liam (9).

He is an avid big game hunter and enjoys upland bird hunting with his golden retriever, Rocky.  Additionally, he hosts numerous shooting events annually and enjoys teaching tactical and long-range shooting to novice and experienced shooters. 

 

He is an Ambassador for the Navy SEAL Foundation and provides support to numerous other veteran non-profits.
